I want to take a moment to thank your group for helping Jerry West with the Rolling Dog Project. Your thoughtful fundraiser helped to pay the shipping costs to get this large cart to my Dux and other big dogs who have been waiting for one as well. Dux has Degenerative Myelopathy its a disease much like Human ALS and MS the GSD has been plagued with this progressive disease that has no cure. There is no pain associated directly with DM. Its progression can be delayed with exercise, swimming and P.T. proving to improve the quality of life for the dog and pet parent alike. Once paralysis sets in there is no way to regain the use of limbs, so it was imperative to keep Dux on his feet. I also have severe spinal issues and walking him was causing me severe pain. Your generous fund raiser not only made my life better, but Dux is much happier as well. Just look at him in his cart. You can see for yourselves. If you need to see in person that may be arranged as I am also in Southern CA. I just need help keeping other dogs at a safe distance because my boy is dog aggressive and now that he has wheels he thinks hes a bad a** again. LOL THANKS FOR HELPING JERRYS DOGS!
