I want to take this opportunity to apologize to my community, city officials, my church and the girls from HOV. I violated city code and whats worse I did this knowingly and even tried to find what I thought to be a loophole to justify my actions. This compromised my integrity. I deeply regret my decisions. My intent was to provide a safe house for pregnant drug addicted women to deliver DRUG FREE babies. I did not anticipate the need and the house soon filled. I was only allowed to house 1 girl and I housed 8. I know rules and regulations are there for our protection and safety but I must admit I was not considering the tragedy the could possibly occur because I was looking at the tragedy that was happening; another baby born addicted. In my defense, I could not say no to the women that needed a place to stay. I in no way compare this to the horrors of the holocaust but Im sure many Jews escaped because someone broke the rules.
