I want to take this opportunity to do quick reflection on We back - TopicsExpress

I want to take this opportunity to do quick reflection on We back home fest. annual party for migrant labour (amagoduga)from Gauteng and elsewhere in the small and neglected town of Thaba Nchu. I want to start by congratulating the organisers of these magnificent event in the calendar of Thaba Nchu. I take my hat off for u. It is in that spirit that i also want to thank the young people of Thaba Nchu for a good behaviour. The event was peaceful displayed throughout the festival. It goes without doubt that this event continue to grow year in out. It attracts social butterflys from all over the province and neighbouring Lesotho. Which position the event to be a mayor economic contributor in Thaba Nchu in addition to the big Annual Assembly of God(Bhengu Church) Christmas & Easter Conference. Its a sad that despite this mayor events in Thaba Nchu we do not have a single Shopping Mall. We do not have a decent shopping centre to accommodate the high influx in our town. We tremble on top of each other at shoprite. Some of us are old enough to Remember that Thaba Nchu used to be a place of hive of activity during the era of Bophuthatswana. We had Ok hyper and 2 spar stores all at once. In addition we boosted 2 Casinos now only one left. We thank u for bringing Thaba Nchu back to its glory. I think credit must be given where is due. On the festival itself i think Ricky Ricky, black coffee, & casper Nyovest killed it. Unfortunately khuli chana, and brix failed to deliver. Its just my view. I think next year u must add quality like Zahara, Mafikizolo, and old bit of old school. We dont mind to pay.We dont want to feel like we watching channel O or Tracey repeat. Am glad to also mention that the children of outata are making progress in their respective life. One will mistaken the parking lot with a car dealer in sandton or Hatfield. Lets push guys and make more money to reinvest back home. I want to encourages one and all in Thaba Nchu to start working on ideas that will generate more money for them around this events. We must use this festival to sell our products and services. We must start applying our creative minds. This events must bring real economic spin off for local entrepreneurs. Am already working on my creative and innovative idea that i will link with the main festival next year. Am going to be busy counting profits at this time next year not writing on Facebook. If we work together as youth and people in Thaba Nchu this place will grow economically. Unemployment will be history. Thaba Nchu integrated with Botshabelo has the potential to grow into a New black City like New York. Blag Love Sons & Daughters of the soil.!!!!
