I want to take time to reflect on something that happened to me when I was in school. I never made an actual F on my report card until my 10th grade year when Mrs Harvey Woodall gave me an F! I always wondered why she gave me a 65 and wouldnt curve it over. But it hit me that she wasnt going to give me anything that she knew I was capable of. She never played slacking in her classroom. Responsibility and an attentive mind is what got you out of her class. Needless to say I passed the class, but I learned something better than English. I learned that life isnt going to give you anything. Thank you Dr. Antionette Harvey-Woodall. I know youre going to be an oustanding administrator. Those kids and teachers are lucky to have you as their instructional leader. Youre a visionary compassionate leader that will get the job done. In your first staff meeting I want you to ask the teachers...questions? comments? concerns? Lol congratulations!!
