I want to thank all of you both friends and family for you prayers and support through facebook. My Mom is in a better place, free of suffering and pain. Im handling this a lot better than I thought I would. Ive done my share of crying, and there may be more. Im not going to fight my feelings, but not let them overwhelm me. I have been close to my friends and family and the outpouring of support and prayers has been simply beautiful. It has help a lot. My Step Dad is having a harder time, but he too has much support. I guess I knew this would be coming and I spent a lot of time having closure with issues between her and I. I know that my Mom was a hard, stubborn and opinionated person that alienated most all who knew her including my siblings. Fortunately I was blessed with many years of therapy, and I was able to see beyond her gossip, anger and judgmental thinking. Beneath a saw a woman had a lot of pain and fear, I grew close to her and loved her dearly. We let the past go and grew to love each other dearly.
