I want to thank all of you for your kind and helpful remarks on the Jose matter. Reinalyn, you are true friend, thank you! I want to say that I’m not a wimp. I am 5 foot nothing but I took on a 66 bully on a tour bus. I stood up, hands in boxing position, and told him to quit hitting my seat. The problem in this situation is that when you live in an apartment building, the people who take care of it have a lot of power over you. For example, I could have a delivery truck pull up to the front and Jose could say no, and send them away. Then I’d have to spend days with angry people trying to get the truck back. This is why I’ve put up with him for so long. But I realized that I couldn’t take it anymore and wrote a letter to the managing company. I added at the end that I was so fed up with the way this man treated me that I was considering going to the police and hiring a lawyer. A man from the managing company responded right away and said he was going to the building to handle the matter. I haven’t heard anything else. As for Jose thinking I’m a famous author, as far as I know, no one in the building knows what I do for a living. The best part of all this is that as soon as I was told something was going to be done about Jose, a bunch of book ideas came to me. I’ve had a blank about chapter two for days, but I instantly knew what to do. Ray needs to tell Elise what’s going on, and Olivia should talk to Kit. Right now I just want to think about happy things. What are you doing this weekend? I go to Mary for a workout on Thursday, then I’m free. I need to get a Yellow Fever vaccination, but I keep finding excuses to put it off. Jude
