I want to thank all the firemen/women and policemen/women that worked at the Target festivities tonight. I frantically stripped my 2 year olds clothes off, soaking him with water and wiping 100s of red ants off of him as he screamed. These gentlemen must have seen this from a distance and ran over to help him/me. I was freaking a little because my husband is deathly allergic to bees/red ants and I had no clue if my son would have a reaction. They were so attentive to him and his reactions to the bites, just swelling, thank goodness. They cleaned him off, looked him over, monitored the swelling, and offered us towels to take him home in. THANK YOU for all you do, day and night, to keep us all safe. God Bless you and may you be safe as you serve your community. You are greatly appreciated by many! Especially my 3 year old that told everyone that his friends saved his brother from being bit all over!
