I want to thank each and every one of you for all your kind words, thoughts and prayers. Today was a very rough day as we said goodbye to our big boy, Daddy. It was the very first time Mohamed and I have had to make that decision to have a family member put to sleep, it was not made lightly. Watching the tears roll down his cheeks made me fall more deeply in love with him than I already was. It comes to show you real men can cry and are not ashamed one bit. After hanging his collar on his framed picture in the entryway, I took Ruger and Taser for a walk. It was weird looking back and not seeing Daddy happily trailing behind sniffing for anything he can find. I talked aloud the entire time telling him to get settled in heaven and when he figures out his wings, please come back and keep his brothers in line, check in on his baby girl, give us a kiss and maybe even keep that pesty squirrel in the backyard up in his tree. I just let them in from outside, Ruger give me a kiss, then heads directly to the spot Daddy was sleeping in earlier today, this boy kills me. I think there are many things I should be doing tonight, but the laundry will be in the dryer tomorrow, the floor can be swept tomorrow as well. I just want to snuggle in with other two boys, make some popcorn (one of Daddys favorite snacks) and watch a good movie. Everything else can wait.
