I want to thank every one for your Happy birthday post . I never thought that birthdays were so important until this year . I was raised in a home where no one had a birthday cake let alone a party . I remember giving my mom a birthday cake when I was about eighteen and her saying just put on the table I know that my mom was repeating what she experienced as a child . It wasnt until I had my on children that I experienced the thrill of a birthday party , every kid in the neighborhood invited or uninvited got cake and ice cream when one of our four boys had a birthday . Sixty nine years later I experienced the greatest birthday ever thanks to over one hundred Happy birthday posts from all over the U.S and numerous countries from NMMI cadets past and present .Thank you ,Thank you , Thank you for the most awesome birthday ever . Damn allergies are making my eyes watery and my nose runny everybody have a great day .
