I want to thank everyone for the kind words and birthday wishes today- and a special thanks to my good friends Gary and Meri Lux for a wonderful dinner and visit tonight! For the record, my digital clock may read 55, but I can honestly say in my mind and spirit, Im barely pushing 40. That being said, there are a lot of good things about being 55 and I have been blessed this past year with some amazing friends (both old and new), a relocation to this wonderful paradise called Morro Bay, an adventurous livelihood (with some fabulous clients and associates), an ever strengthening marriage and an exciting road ahead. These past few years have been the best of my entire life, so I never fret over getting older. In fact, I am excited to see what God has planned for us...the more I get out of my own way, the more His plans are revealed. I wonder why it took me so long to figure that out...
