I want to thank everyone for the prayers and support. Several of you have asked what it is that my husband does. Here is a description of what he does. He has his PhD in ECE. Julian Chee is well versed in Project Management and is a Principle Engineer for microsystems (MEMS) product development. While in both roles, he has brought several microsystems products from design through to production ramp. Notable microsystem products are micro mirrors are photonics applications and a bio-MEMS electrode array for lab-on-a-chip applications. In the Project Manager capacity, Julian is responsible for formulating project schedule, oversee development schedule and interface with both internal and external customers and vendors. As a microsystems Principle Engineer, he is responsible for design and process development, product verification and integration. During integration, he is responsible for training operation staff for process methods and inspection. As part of production ramping, he is also responsible for collecting data for statistical process control. Due to the small size of he previous company and the specialization of the products Julian manages, he was the ideal technical staff to serve both job functions.
