I want to thank everyone for their love and support. Ive pretty much been hiding as much as possible...withdrawing a little, I guess. Anyway, please dont take it personally if I dont respond right away. It will take me some time to catch up on all the messages. The details...my mother passed away Monday night after losing her third battle with breast cancer. This time, the cancer had metastasized to at least her lungs and bones. When we saw her oncologist on April 25th, he admitted that he was surprised she was still alive and told us that she had maybe three months left. So she held out for five...because thats how we Ireland women are. Her wish was to be cremated, so those arrangements have been made. There will not be a memorial service right now. I simply cant handle it so soon...though Im doing better than I thought I would, I basically expected to be catatonic. So better, as always, is relative. Right now, Im seriously thinking of having a service in November, near her birthday. I will post when a date is chosen, etc. Thank you all again.
