I want to thank everyone for your continued support! I was at the Clerks office with my Treasurer this morning and had a great conversation with them. We have all the paperwork we need, and will be ready this Thursday for the Election Board meeting. We are confident they will be satisfied and there will no longer be an issue. The Independent American Partys Indiana State Coordinator (also on my committee) was in contact with the Secretary of States office (Campaign Finance Office). They also feel there is no issue and nothing to worry about. We went over everything we received from them last year, and we are correct. There are completely different date schedules for Independent candidates. There are some regulations that are common, and we receive the same consideration and opportunities that the 2 party candidates receive. Look for my post after the meeting on Thursday for the details and outcome. I will assume the News and Tribune will also be there to assist in getting the word out to those who dont follow facebook. Again, I want to thank all of you for your support! I will see you at Steamboat Days in Jeffersonville, and Autumn on the River in Bethlehem on Saturday.
