I want to thank everyone that came out to the GA Indie Author Event 2014-Sweet as a Peach event yesterday. It means a lot that so many of you took a chance on me and came out. Id hoped for a chill, comfortable and relaxed signing and I think that was accomplished. Thank you to EVERYONE that volunteered their time to come and help. Thank you to the readers that came out and helped us raise money for such an awesome cause. Weve been blessed and Im glad that we had the opportunity to give back to the community. I also want to thank my husband and my kids for one putting up with me, but also for spending their time helping me during their spring break. I owe them BIG! I wanted this event to be as perfect as I possibly could. I know that bumps and hiccups will arise along the way and we can only do what we can to fix them to the best of our abilities. But the event was PERFECT and I feel blessed that so many of you were a part of it. My hubby has been informed that there will be a next year but it will more than likely be in mid July. Call me crazy but at this point I have made some pretty awesome contacts and since it did so well, why not? It seems my organizational skills were put to good use. ;)
