I want to thank everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday today!!!!! I am so blessed with the people I have in my life, it warms my heart with a warm glow....I thank each and everyone of you for doing so.... Had a great day woke to find my love bought me gladiolus, flowers my beloved dad used to plant for my august birthday!!! ....along with cards....a carrot cake....a new galaxy phone and a bunch of other items. ...he took me to my fav place, longhorn, and had a nice meal and saved room for dessert to have at home with the girls...On the way home, we traveled back roads. Route 106 to enjoy the ride and what do we see in the middle of the road......a turtle the size of a large dinner platter!!!! Trucks traveling this road were almost hitting him/her....we drove past, and I asked Murf to please go back so I could to move it off the road.....he did.....and I was able to get to the center lane safely and pick him up and off the road to the side he was trying to get to...trucks passing honking....his little legs paddling in the air let me know he was ok...and happy...so i.placed him in the cool grass of the shade...patted his shell for luck....and went on our way....other day of being kind.....
