I want to thank my Dad for introducing me to Pink Floyd when i was a young boy... i remember listening to Dark Side Of The Mood and The Wall on vinyl when i was really young, i also recall the day he bought Pulse on CD it had a pulsing l.e.d. light on the side (very cool). I knew nothing about music or the bands history but was instantly in love with what i heard. Pink Floyd have an amazing back story their main song writer Sid Barrett lost his mind on LSD, they eventually found their sound through Roger Waters hunting lyrics and song writing and Dave Gilmours amazing vocals and guitar work. They gave birth to the idea of a Concept Albums and through their muse Sid Barrett, Nick Mason (Official), Rick Wright, Dave and Roger created some of the most amazing music in the 20th century. with epic music came epic band splits Rick was sacked by Roger then Roger left the band. There was law suits over who owned the band name etc... Dave, Nick and Rick regrouped and released some awesome works under the name PINK FLOYD, their last album was released in 94 called the Division Bells. Until now! After the passing of Rick in 2008 Dave and Nick pieced together songs they had been working of (new and old) and have produced a brand new album called The Endless River i can not wait to turn the lights low, put my feet back and get absorbed in the art work and music of Pink Floyds new work https://youtube/watch?v=h_MD9wkv5xE
