I want to touch on a subject I brought up yesterday, but first I want to also let you know that I am NOT a licensed nutritionist, dietitian, personal trainer, sports doc, etc. I am just your average stay at home mom who loves fitness and the advice/tips that I give are based solely on the things that have helped me progress in my journey thus far and as I go. With that being said back to the topic I wanted to address, the loose skin, I took that photo I took yesterday of my hanging tummy and compared it to a photo I sent the lovely Miss Detra 5months ago and it wasnt until then I realized the actual amount of improvement that had took place and it was quite significant! Now Im also going to add that I have never used any of these wraps that are so popular now days nor any creams, just a good combination of healthy eating, cardio & strength training. Im not trying to knock any of these products out there, but from what I hear their effects are only temporary and Im not looking for a band aid so to speak, I want a more permanent fix. This is funny coming from a person who used to have a I want it and I want it now attitude (I know quite childish right???) but fitness has taught me patience. I also think how much loose skin you actually have will also play a role too, Ive never been obese so to speak, Ive only had my stomach stretched out by pregnancy 6 well if you want to be technical 7 times. Keep at it, dont give up, give your body time, actually give your skin time to start catching up to your new body. Can I say it will all tighten up and eventually go away??? No I can not, but I can say it gets better, keep going.~Donna
