I want to update everyone on my neck/spinal surgery. Was able to make it to Church today. It was great to make it out of the house. I have regained complete feeling in my hands, fingers and leg and no neck pain (and no lower back pain). I have one thumb with numbness still but doctor says not to worry yet, may be from swelling. I can live with that. I exhaust really fast so I cant do much with the horses yet. Working my way back to normality. My restrictions are only not to lift more than 20 lbs so Chuck is having to lift the hay and feed for me. Now, I want to thank a few people. I know I will miss somebody and I am sorry if I do. I want to thank EVERYONE for all their prayers. God did speak to me during my surgery. Teresa Palmer - thank you for taking me to the Hospital - staying with me - making ALL the wonderful food - doing our laundry (I cant say enough); Theresa Hanford, Delia Russell and Juliette for providing food; Chucks mom - for staying with me pre-operatively; Ashley Davis - you were a lifesaver for helping with the horses making sure the stalls were clean and horses fed and watered. I cant thank you enough; to my children Jen and Mike - for prayers and support; and last but not least my wonderful sweetheart husband Chuck who was with me from the get-go. He has made sure all my needs are met every day and night. Food, taking care of horses, medicine. Taking care of all of my needs. What a blessing. I cant wait to be back in the saddle - hopefully within 6-8 weeks.....
