I want to wish you a very Happy Fathers Day Dad! Funny thing is, I heard this song last night and as always, I thought about how much I could relate to this song. I wish I had more time....or I wish I would take more time to call you, just to hear your voice....or to hear about exactly what you ordered for lunch, where you ate it and how much it cost....or to hear about your morning tennis match.....or to listen to a new obnoxious joke that you couldnt wait to tell me! I just want to tell you dad that while life keeps me pretty busy, I think of you many times throughout the day. I often catch myself mimicking you and I realize that I am exactly who I am because of you. While I rush around and life passes me by, I realize that all I do and who I am every day, is a reflection of you. My love for others, my whacky humor, my ability to multi task, my work ethic, the silliness I share with my two daughters....and even my craziness and stubbornness is a mirror of you dad. I am so grateful for the morals you chose to instill in my sister and myself....and even with Jay and Kennedy. I really can so wholeheartedly, that I have never known a man to love his children and grandchildren more than you! And while I am sure I dont tell you nearly enough how much you mean to me, I want you to know that I thank God often that he chose you as my dad and as the girls Vavoo. I love you more than you will ever know and I am beyond appreciative for the unconditional love you have given us! I truly have never met a kinder, big hearted man!
