I wanted to find out more on the dragonheads from Dublin, and did - TopicsExpress

I wanted to find out more on the dragonheads from Dublin, and did some googling. I did find that the pebble weave version I have done is based on a brocade band from about 950. I found two non-brocade versions both on this site by Anne de Chivanney: wychweaves-brettchenweberei.blogspot.no/p/wikinger.html I have also found two brocade versions: Large version by Elisabeth DaBorn: https://facebook/148588911840817/photos/a.148589751840733.30059.148588911840817/459890357377336/?type=1&theater Small version at Aislings Welt: aisling.biz/index.php/galerie/historisch/fruehmittelalter/192-245-dublin The later link had a reference to a paper: Silk Braids and Textiles of the viking age from Dublin in the report from the 2nd NESAT Symposium. I found the NESAT site, but the Christmas holidays stopped any further investigation. Now, does anybody here by any chance have the paper on the viking age textiles from Dublin? And how old is the oldest non-brocade dragon-head band?
