I wanted to make a road map of our vacation last week so I wouldnt forget how much land we crossed on our 745 mile 5 day road trip across the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico. We started off at an apartment on the island of Cozumel, then we also had a hotel in the city of Merida. We did small road trips to a surrounding area of Merida every day once there. Good times!! We did it on our own too. No guide, we dont speak Spanish and we drove ourselves all the way without a gps! Thats our version of roughing it. No GPS.
