I wanted to post this as a comment on an article about THEY DONT REALLY CARE ABOUT US, which Sony pulled, year ago. At that time, and to this day, there are those of the Jewish tradition who seem to be misinterpreting his use of the derogatory term kike---a reader suggested it is as inappropriate as a black using the n word----heres my comment I didnt post as I did not want to open an account: James Baldwin, the esteemed American writer/literary figure, used the word nigger not to demean blacks but to make his point against the usage of the word. Exhibit A. https://youtube/watch?v=L0L5fciA6AU Its my opinion he used Kick me, kike me [call me a kike]; dont you black or white me he is including that to defend them as he is the blacks....Dont you black or white me -----he isnt demeaning the blacks by naming them, neither is he demeaning the Jews-----he realizes the Jews suffered in the Holocaust, and he also realized the current day situations in the Holy Land that he mentions in Earth Song [which his sister, Janet, also realizes, and her current trip to visit with Palestinian children speaks to that awareness]
