(I wanted to post this last week but J.Cole and Bop Alloy got in the way.) Taylor Swift, you didnt have to tell me youre a Blank Space, I already knew that...and if being Blonde in the video wouldnt just carve it in stone . No animals, trees, automobiles or actors were harmed in the making of this video. Thats good to know, we wouldnt want to alarm all the tree-loving Hippies and PETA members watching your video. This song couldnt be a more blatant ripoff of Avril Lavignes Complicated and a worse head-on collision for Taylor into Pop music. And the video is so preppy-white, it would startle even Ralph Lauren . So, the whole concept behind this song is in this omnipotent, destructive potential of women, that its acceptable to threaten with a knife (3:17), and beat her man and his car, a vintage Shelby Cobra with a Golf club (3:20). Now, I would expect this from the dislikes of Rihanna or cocaine-crazed Lindsay Lohan, but not the lovable, so-called Americas Sweetheart Taylor Swift. I guess shes officially on her path to Self-Destruction, the Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus theme park ride...and just the latest Gone Girl.
