I wanted to share a story that really meant a lot to me. I normally don’t post a lot on here but I felt compelled to tell this story in hopes that everybody takes a serious look at the SeaStar Hydraulic Steering package. Last winter, I rebuilt this ’84 Mercury in-line six 115 HP. This summer I rebuilt this Grastron GT-150. Two weeks ago I installed the SeaStar Plus Steering package. On Tuesday night of this week I accidently ran my drill bit right through one of the high pressure lines and hydraulic fluid started leaking all over the inside of the boat. I immediately put a hose clamp on it and stopped the mess. But I needed to replace the damaged hose – which I caused. I called the SeaStar the next morning and explained what happed and the technician said he would send out a replacement hose at no charge. I was floored by his generosity. It has been an absolute pleasure working with this company. Hats off to them.
