I wanted to share my before and after picture. The first picture was taken February 22, 2013 (a few weeks before I starting going to Zumba®) March 5, 2013 was the first time in my life I ever attended a Zumba® class. I never was the type of person that wanted to workout because I didnt think I needed to. After attending my first class, I feel in love. It was so much fun working out/dancing to music for an hour that it didnt seem like I was actually working out. Since that day I have went to Zumba® faithfully. I slowly started to change my eating habits, first I gave up soda and started eating smaller portions of food, then i had to give up junk food and start eating healthier, I drank nothing but green tea and water. Slowly but surely I could see inches/pounds coming off. Weeks went by and then I could see the difference in my clothes (thats a great feeling). I became more and more dedicated to Zumba® after seeing the progress I was making. When I went to class I gave it my all, I pushed myself because I was determined to get to where I wanted to be. All the hard work and motivation from myself and others has paid off and Im so happy how far I have come. It was times I wanted to give up but giving up wasnt an option. No, its not easy but in the end its so worth it. I didnt just want to lose weight, I wanted to live a healthier/happier lifestyle. Zumba® has made me not only look good but it also has made me feel better, in many ways. Your health is important! The second picture is from August 9, 2014 (yesterday). My starting weight was 209 and as of today I weigh 163 lbs. Im happy to say Im down 46 lbs. After going to Zumba® for a year, I decided to get certified. Now i can motivate others not only to lose weight but live a healthier lifestyle. It takes time to get to where you want to be, it doesnt happen overnight. But Im here to let you know IT CAN BE DONE. If I can do it, you can do it! :)
