I wanted to share one more what you should know about me posts! If you already know me you can skip to the good stuff. But let me publicly field this question because it comes up every sale. Why does TAS help a (insert higher price here) but not a (lower price here)? Things to know: 1. TAS has no extra play money. We have a small reserve for unexpected needs that may come up in emergency situations only. Otherwise every dollar we take in goes back out for the horse or purpose it was raised for. 2. TAS did not buy the horses I posted on my personal page. If we ever do fundraise or purchase a horse it is then subject to the adoption, reference and contract process. When I/we attend a sale we are simply networking and sharing public information. Any buyers that come forward pay the previous owners directly. I, personally, only help facilitate the process because I have been through it and because I have taken time and built relationships. 3. There will always be choices and horses lost. I can only do so much. I do not claim to be able to always help every horse sell...and I dont want to. The point is for people to see it can be done. There are things, places and people for these horses if marketed honestly, correctly and at a certain point a realistic price. 4. This is my personal page! This is my heart, thoughts, passion and dreams poured out to you. There are no smoke and mirrors, what you see is what you get. If you have a question ask me. If people talk bad about me or TAS...do me and yourself a favor and before you feed in to it ask them if they have asked me directly? 5. I am just a girl who loves Saddlebreds...I didnt think I would be this far in, but I wouldnt have it any other way. Not for the breed that taught me so much about life, love and myself. A breed that has more to offer and do. Im not going anywhere so you can either get on board, mind your own business or stay out of my way! 6. This is about the horses...bottom line, always has been, always will. Its not anything one person can accomplish. We have to work together! Soooo... Without further ado please give yourselves a pat on the back for the horses you helped find homes by sharing, liking and commenting on in the last 23 days...It takes a Team! #timeforchange
