I wanted to share the latest caringbridge update for Walker ( my little nephew ) Prayer requests : By karie phillips - 4 hours ago Please pray for... -Walker to fall asleep earlier than he has been falling asleep at night -congestion to go away so he does not have to be suctioned all night long -that he will begin to swallow on his own -that God will lead the Drs in making choices about our next steps in his care -our therapy sessions, that they continue to go well and that Walker continues to make strides in the right direction; he seems to be doing much better and we attribute that to all of the many prayers (thank you!) -that he will continue to make progress all around Praises: -he seems to be recognizing his body parts and responding to commands (he tried to kiss me today after I have him a kiss) -he held his head up for longer today -he took his first bath -he is responding well to more stimulation (no seizures!) -we are dropping off meds and doses -Wes is going to get to fly out next week as a result of being awarded a grant from the Forrest Spence Fund - PRAISE GOD! -the many cards and letters from friends and family (we love you all!) Thank you all! You mean a lot to us! Karie
