I wanted to share this with all of you.....especially for those that have children around my kids age. Trey was told that Santa was fake this year by a couple kids. 😓. At that time I talked to him about the Spirit of Santa & what Christmas meant. He was quiet & didnt say much. Hes asked for several things this year but nothing from Santa. I found this letter last year somewhere and I wanted to share it with all of you! I wrote it to Trey last night and put it in his stocking from SANTA. He sat in front of Brent & myself & silently read it I asked him how he felt or if he wanted to talk to us about anything He got up and went in the other room for a bit..... Came back & said, I think you need to check your stockings. When we looked there was a note. It said Merry Christmas from Santa. He asked when the last time we got anything in our stockings......since we were little kids...... Then he says to check it again & there was $5 in each. He had the biggest grin on his face knowing that hes now the spirit of Santa too!!! We talked about how we are going to be SANTA for so many kids this year that wouldnt have a Christmas otherwise. (He said.....like we did last month for Thanksgiving delivering food) Tears running down my face as I type this! I am so blessed to have a young man with such HEART! This is what its ALL about!!!!!
