I wanted to share this with you all. Yesterday would have been Moms 67th birthday. She was so strong and put so much into our family and her friendships. 10/13/2014 Feeling grateful for my family and friendships throughout my life. Digging deep to look at the catalysts that have opened other doors to new friendships, job opportunities and life experiences. Thank you to all of you that have been by my side through thick and thin. Thank you for your honesty allowing me to be the best father, brother, uncle and friend I can be. My next CT scan is set for October 20. It is one that was not scheduled and one that is delaying my next round of chemo. I am feeling... fine. All things considered, but none the less this does create some anxiety and doubt. It is in times like this I can rely on you all for the prayers and support needed to get through this. Most of you know that I choose to deny my cancer, I internalize so much hurt and pain because thats who I am. I rely on God to sort it all out and know that I have all of you praying. I see kids that have battled through times tougher than mine, friends/ soldiers with missing limbs and permanent mental and physical damage. They do not complain, they do not whine. They are inspired and get their strength from God and their support groups. So I know I can do the same thing. Through Him, anything is possible. The inspiration from our past Team Carone event along with the visit to Low Country Field of Dreams has inspired me so much. Thank you all, friends new and old. You all keep me going and keep me fighting. I also know, when I am too weak to fight, you will all be there for me.
