I wanted to take a minute and say THANK YOU to all the people that gave (and are still giving) soooo much love and support to our family and especially Ronnie and his family in the death of our sister one week ago today.500 people signed the guest book and we were just blown away with the showing. To my entire church family at Our Saviors Church Opelousas Campus,... you guys are so precious.....we could not have made it without all of you swooping in immediately and holding us up with your love, prayers, crying with us, offering words of encouragement and meals. To my sweet spiritual giant sisters in the faith: Paula Savoy Bellard, Spring Woodson, Cindy Jason Ortego, Rhonda Leach Chitwood (all the way from Atlanta) and Julie Potier Esta, who came from all distances and sat with me in the ashes and mourned. I can never repay you all for that day and I will never, ever forget it. To my C&C family, who showed up and hugged and loved on us during this time..especially my boss Thomas Chance and his incredible wife Lisa who got out of bed on the night she was killed and sat with us and mourned. To my other sisters/brothers at work Kimberly Elmer Touchet, Bobbie Jo Folse, Dorothy Lavergne, Denise Douglas, Katie Ortego, Chris Bernard & Beth Fietsam Bernard and Susan Maricle Blessing along with her hubby BB who showed up strong for us and took care of most everything..you guys...I dont have the words. To my friend Julie Hendrickson Ardoin who also came a long distance to sit by my side and cry. To Loren B Carriere who so beautifully sang at her wake & funeral at a moments notice with that face full of Christs love. You are amazing, To all the friends that we havent seen in years and years traveling long distances and sacrificing time and work to be with us. You know who you are. For the numerous texts, emails, FB posts and flowers/plants that were sent, we treasured each and every one...every hug, every memory, every tear that you shared with us was felt and touched us deeply. Even the people we didnt know sending us messages of sympathy and telling us ways Jeanne touched their lives. To my incredible husband who took charge of everything for our family with absolutely no hesitation and still tenderly loved and protected me as I fell apart. Terry you are my rock.. I love you more than you know. To my brothers and sisters: Rebecca Lanning and her husband Michael, Kelly Mayeux and his wife Lynn Vitale, Chris Mayeux and his wife Becky Guidroz Mayeux...along with all of their kids Trae Mayeux, Regan Mayeux, Brandon S Mayeux, Chad Mayeux, Andy Mayeux, Chris Lanning and Patrick Lanning and their spouses/girlfriends who grieved as we clung to one another. Our relationships are changed forever in a positive way. To my sweet children Ryan Woodson and Joshua Woodson who held me up and loved on me through the entire ordeal and are still doing so today. To my daughter in love Hannah Hargroder Woodson, who is my little Jeanne...who never left my side and took care of me when I couldnt take care of myself, and Bianca Grace Stakes who sent me texts of love and encouragement everyday. To Sherri Pitre Joslin and Kaliste Saloom who have been instrumental in taking care of some of her business with me as difficult as it is to do, they jumped right in. I love you all dearly and so did Jeanne. Last but not least, my Father in Heaven who I love with all of my heart and have been consumed with His comfort and compassion. I trust Him and His promises that we will see her again. This list could go on and on but I think you get the picture :o)..if I left anyone out its only because Im 400 years old and my brain is fried. WE THANK YOU. WE LOVE YOU and WE APPRECIATE ALL OF YOU...we will never forget our sister or the love you showed her and us. (Sorry this is so long but you all know I talk alot sooooo.... yeah)
