I wanted to take a minute to thank everyone who has asked about Ladonna and sent us good wishes and prayers. I was trying to keep up and thank each person by name but we were just overwhelmed by the sheer numbers of people who took the time out of their lives to share a comment or prayers for us. I can never thank everyone enough. Its so great to have people like all of you as a part of our lives. I know she had some of the finest hooter doctors available and the surgeons and staff of the chemo center did a fine job. She had the best of care at Northside Womens Center but even with all that expert care Im convinced that what got her through everything and made everything a success was all those prayers that were sent up on her behalf. I want to send out my undying gratitude for a number of people who have been with us through this ordeal and were with me at the hospital. Big Allan McDonald. Thank you for the bisquits without them I may have starved slap to death. Cathy Nix Sanders, Linda Murphy Huhn, Terri Fradenburg Roberts, Donnie Roberts, Heather Easterwood Tatum, Steve Maples ( a damn fine attorney if you folks ever decide to commit a crime and need to be represented or just need damn fine representation) and Rachel a rising star in the legal field. So many others have been to the house or came to visit or called and messaged. Some folks like Wanda Sessions, Jerry Bodenhamer and Paul Huhn just made life more bearable these past 6 months. Im damn near broke from all this but Im just like the immortal Lou Goering In his immortal farewell speech to the crowd at Yankee stadium. Because of all you folks I feel like the luckiest man alive. Ladonna is on the mend. It will be a hard road to 100 percent healthy but she will get there. Thank you all
