I wanted to thank all of you for your enthusiasm and support for my new novel, The Coalition. I wanted to take a moment and update and address a matter concerning it. During the writing of a book there are several editing phases. The results of these are copies of the book known in the industry as “galleys; They are incomplete copies of the book awaiting correction and review by one- or many- editors and proofreaders. Unfortunately due to a clerical oversight at the editor, an early galley was sent to the printer instead of the final proof. This galley contained typos, punctuation and grammatical errors, and some items waiting to be reviewed & fact-checked (character names, locations, dates, etc.). The error was caught the other day and a reprint has been ordered as we speak. I take every project I put my hand and name to very seriously. I felt it a matter that demanded transparency on my part to address this error promptly. Credibility is one of the last true currencies in our world. I intend to maintain the value of mine. Copies of the book with these errors will have a sticker pressed on them alerting the reader, as well as clarifying a couple of passages. This is being done to meet the early and high demand for the novel. Who knows, these early copies may become collectors items. As soon as the new print run is available I will post on Facebook and Twitter. When you read this book, you will see it is more than just a novel and why we had such a push to provide you with a timely and relevant tale.
