I wanted to thank everyone for your concern about Shamrock. I didnt want to post anything that would sound negative because Im aware of the season and I know how much negativity there already is on this site. Ive been so totally down I just couldnt find the words to describe whats going on with my precious little dog. Ive made the decision to keep her as long as shes not suffering. Im having to give her medicine every 4-6 hours for her cough. Shes eating and acting just like herself with the exception of a horrible cough. I find it deplorable that the vets are so busy trying to upsell they forget how cold their words are for the owners of the animals. I know Shamrock better than anyone and Ill know when its time. I cant take her life while theres still life in her. Im totally aware that my Facebook friends are animal lovers and Im so grateful youve been with me on the hardest journey of my life. Shamrock is all I have left in this world and to say I adore her would be an under statement. If anyone has any home remedies theyve tried on their pets I would love to hear about it. She may only last a few days more but shell go out only after Ive tried everything and shes not suffering. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Shes such a very special little dog. Im so thankful for you guys and your kind words...................
