I wanted to thank you all for a wonderful event at Maidens. Saturday morning, I hit the swimming pool before getting geared up for the event and was able to unwind and get my head cleared. I arrived on site, set up and for a while just sat quietly and for the first time in a long time, I really felt in the moment for the tourneys. For the a-game tourney, I was in Pool 3 with Kai, Maire, Torquil, Gallien, Pieter, Niku, Tula, Trefor, and Godfrey. All bouts were well fought.Tula and Maire were the most fun (hip shake to Maire). I won 3 fights. While I lost 6 fights, they were very good fights and I did not feel beaten. This is an important distinction in my own progress. I stayed focused on my fight and techniques. I was also able to help Lars and Titus with their MK1K progress and had an excellent suite of bouts with Baroness Brighid. Thank you to the Thieves of Hearts for hosting a tremendous afterparty. I have traveled to other kingdoms for events and wars and our level of camaraderie and esprit du corps is indeed remarkable. Cheers! Gwyneth
