I was 20 something going to Art School at the time so I had a lot of sleepless nights. One night I decided to sleep on the couch in my living room instead of sleeping in my bedroom. Then at one point in the middle of the night I remember just waking suddenly in a shock with the feeling that someone was in the room with me. It was facing towards the back of the couch so I couldnt really see much but I had this strong sensation that the persons face was inches away from the back of my head. Hovering over me starring at me. It was at that point when I tried to move and realized I couldnt. I desperately wanted to turn my head to see who was there inches from my face but for the life of me could not move my head. I couldnt move at all. Part of me wanted to move and I remember trying to move but was just frozen in place. The other part of me was glad I couldnt move because part of me didnt want to see the other face starring back at me. I also remember hearing myself talking some kind of gibberish during most of the ordeal. I was half awake and half asleep full of fear I havent felt before or since. I eventually just fell back info sleep and it hasnt happened since. But Ill never forget it.
