I was 8yrs or 9yrs old when I quoted this Easter Speech.... Come see the tomb where JESUS laid. See the stone rolled away. Two Angels cloth in gleaming white- fill the tomb with shining light! Have they taken our LORD away; hear the Glad words the Angel say! Why seek the living among the dead for HE is RISEN as HE SAID!!! Dont look for JESUS IN THE TOMB. HE (JESUS) WILL LIVE IN YOUR HEART IF you give him room!!!!! (The entire Church stood up. My Pastor (Elder Obe Hendricks) was beaming and My GOD-Mother Patsy Jones. I probably quoted to her all day and night. I would spend the night with her on Saturday, just to make sure I was there at 5:30AM for SUN RISE SERVICE. This went on for yearssssssssssssssss.............. Progressive Way Mission COGIC (Memories). Elder Obe Hendricks was so excited during these times. Sun Rise Service (u better not be late 5:30am service started, not fixing too; then we went straight down stairs to breakfast where the Mothers cooked; Breakfast ended then straight to Sunday School (you better not be sleepy) lol. We had such a wonderful time!! Wouldnt trade my Training for nothing in this World. Thats why I love JESUS so much.......More today than I did on yesterday. Have a Happy Easter/Resurrection Day!!!
