I was 8yrs without children and failed IVF. When I finally had Ryan Dillon my mum and I went out and bought Christmas lights. And every year after he was born my mummy and I put up pretties for Ryan. He loved them like u wldnt believe. After I moved to orange I found I didnt really hve enough time to do them. A few months ago my mum told me she was disappointed that Ethie didnt get to hve the same experiences as Ry. She recalled the wonderful memories Ry had of all those years and she wanted Et to hve the same. I promised her this year I wld start again. So last month I slowly started to put some up. Im sorry mummy its not up to the usual standard nowhere near what I used to do. But tonight, Im sitting in my driveway with your grandchildren drinking your fave Asti Ricodonna, eating ur fave chips and licorice all sorts. We were out here to see the first star in the sky and Ethie said that ones yours. The grief is taking my breath away, but I know ur flying up there with Aunty Faye, Pappy, Nanna Joan, Carolyn and little Lukie. We will see u again one day. I love you always ❤️
