I was a tarrier, not the dog, but a bench pounding, blow the roof - TopicsExpress

I was a tarrier, not the dog, but a bench pounding, blow the roof off, sweat blood tarrier. I tarried at the altar, I tarried in the tarrying room, I tarried on the street, I tarried when driving, I tarried morning, noon and night, I tarried till I embarrassed those around me, I tarried till my voice was gone, I tarried till everybody elses voice was gone. But, night I received the Spirit I did not tarry one second. I was waiting for Evangelist Robert Gass from Belfast, Ireland to come lay hands on me and pray for me, when I simply said, Lord, I love you, and the Spirit fell upon me and I fell to my knees speaking in tongues. Jesus told us some would have difficulty seeking for the Spirit, and I am sure there are many things that hinder one from believing to receive. Luk 11:5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; Luk 11:6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? Luk 11:7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. Luk 11:8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth. For some it will take importunity a consistent willingness to persevere until one gets what one believes they need or have coming. During this tarrying I refused to acknowledge my discouragement, refused to give up, refused to let anyone or anything get in my way. I thank God, for his grace. What I learned was it doesnt take all that tarrying. It takes simple faith to open my mouth and let God fill it. Now, there are lots of elements in the opening of the heart, sometimes deep and dark elements. What appears to be simple is not also what they appear. But, God has given us a promise and those of you who have not received the promise only need to believe to receive and it shall be so. Ask God for his Holy Spirit, believing God wants you to have it more than you want it. And do not stop asking until he pour it on you just as in Acts 2nd chapter, with the evidence of speaking in tongues. God bless in Jesus name.
