I was a very rebellious lost 14 year old when my grandparents took me to Vegas to spend time with and get to know my father. I also met his then girlfriend/soon to be wife and my stepmom, Judy Clark. She welcomed me with open arms and open heart and instantly made me feel loved. It didnt take long for the step in stepmom to simply disappear. She became my 2nd mom and I became her daughter. A relationship I will treasure forever. Even after splitting up with my dad we remained close. After losing my dad on my 18th birthday she did all she could to help me through it. Always checking in on me and even helping me with legal things when I went out there after graduation. My dad had a vintage strat that he adored but wound up in the wrong hands and she fought like any mother would to make sure her daughter got it back. Some time after that she called me bursting with the most exciting news she ever had. She was having a baby!! I could hear the love and excitement in her voice and I was beyond thrilled!! Nine months later my lil brother, Brian Clark, was born and there were no words to describe her excitement. I too was thrilled because I now had not only my amazing sister, Tonya Oriole, I also had a baby brother!! Being on opposite coasts made it impossible to see each other but we did when we could. It had been a few years since our last visit so in the past few weeks I have been checking flight prices and made plans with Brian. I was going to fly out for Mothers Day and we were gonna surprise her. Sadly, this wont happen. We got the phone call in the middle of the night. Mom passed away. My heart is so broken and Im just an emotional mess. All I want to do is give my brother a hug and be there for him. She was a sweet angel who loved unconditionally and now shes an angel watching us from above Brian. I love you and whatever you need, just ask. Ill be on the next flight when you say the word ❤️😞 R.I.P mom ❤️❤️
