I was a weird kid musically, while most were listening to Grand Funk Railroad or Steppenwolf, I was listening to CSNY 4-Way Street, Santana, and this girl. This album game out when I was 11 (1972), and has some Bonnie classics on it like Love Me Like A Man, and Jacksons Under a Falling Sky, but this one always grabbed me (I guess it was from having an older brother with excellent taste in music). It wasnt until Runaway that anyone heard of Bonnie and most probably didnt really know about Bonnie until the excellent Don Was produced album Nick of Time which was much later in her career (and won her 7 Grammys). If your a fan of her music, check out her early stuff like Give It Up and especially Streetlights. Enjoy!
