I was about to post how excited I am that Jess and I are done shopping for the first yr ever before Christmas Eve... But as I read the post over it gave me an overwhelming sadness.... This is what Christmas has turned into... A mad dash for sales, spending money you dont have just to get those you love a little something to prove to them how much you care, wrapping paper, tape, how well we can decorate a tree w pretty balls and ribbon that mean nothing at all, and a day of running around trying to make sure everyone is seen before the night ends.... Lord, please help us to remember that these days arent about how much we spend, or what we recieve. ..Nothing can compair to what we already have... And the night your son was born... We are saved because of your grace, and washed by your blood.... Today and everyday Thank you... For the gifts you have given!!!!
