I was already very interested in HBOs untitled pilot about the late 70s music (and drug) scene in NYC, executive produced by Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese and starring Bobby Cannavale, and todays news that Ray Romano will co-star just about makes me giddy in anticipation. Cannavale plays a record executive trying to get his label back on the map, with Romano the head of promotions. Olivia Wilde and Juno Temple are also in the cast. Scorcese will direct the pilot with a script from Oscar nominee Terrence Winter (The Wolf of Wall Street, Boardwalk Empire, The Sopranos) and George Mastras (Breaking Bad), who will be the showrunner if/when the show gets picked up.
