I was also asked for a mosquito spray that is safe to use on children. This is one I have from Wellnessmama. Fill spray bottle (I used 8 ounce) 1/2 full with distilled or boiled water Add witch hazel to fill almost to the top Add 1/2 tsp vegetable glycerin if using Add 30-50 drops of essential oils to desired scent. The more oils you use, the stronger the spray will be. My personal favorite mix is: Rosemary, Clove, Cajeput, Lavender, Cinnamon and Eucalyptus… it works great and smells good too! This is full strength so for a small child I would do one of 3 things Decrease the essential oils- 15-25 drops increase water maybe to 16oz instead of 8oz spray it into your hands and rub your hands, then rub this onto the baby. Essential oils should be diluted for small children because they have more sensitive skin then we do. If you experience an allergic reaction or any abnormal feelings occur. SEEK MEDICAL ASSISTANCE.
