I was always encouraged to play in the dirt, help my Dad at his Auto Body Shop, and yes, I used power tools growing up, taking Shop Class in High School because I loved wood working. Many of these things helped me run a successful restaurant because I could get hot and dirty with the best line cooks in Sarasota and I want afraid to do anything I asked any employee to do, and they respected me for it. And now, taking care of animals on a farm... whats a little dirt? :) Tell your little girls they are beautiful, yes, but also build their self esteem in things they love to do, even if it is non traditional.
