I was always impressed by sharp negotiating skills of the kids selling stuffs in Mumbai locals and was amazed to witness one funny incident today...After a long queue for seat, I finally dozed off peacefully at a window seat...suddenly felt touch of a tiny hand and as soon as I got up, saw a kid of hardly 2.5 fts saying didi Andheri aa gaya , uth jaao... Me - ohh thank you..n I realized that a girl is also standing at some distance observing everything like a third empire... Girl- didi 20 rs Me - (with little amused and surprised looks) kis baat k ? Girl - uthane ka paisa Me- :O Accha! Par 20 kyu? Girl pointing towards the little boy- 10 iske 10 mere , hum uthate nahi toh aap sote reh jaate na... Me:- (:O impressed by the business model :D )but tumne kaha jagaaya!! Girl :- maine hi toh order diya isse (pointing towards her brother) Me :- lo , aish karo :D Left bogie with 2 states...dunno if I should be happy appreciating their entrepreneurial talent or should be sad about their wit n skills going waste... #Mumbai local musings
