I was an intern at Mars Hill for a year, and while I have been back in the midwest for a while now I still remember Seattle and Mars Hill fondly. It has been hard to watch people that I love fall on different sides of this whole thing. I dont really know where I stand at this point. But I do know this: when I started my internship I expected to get to know Mark. This didnt happen. Rather I met hundreds of amazing people who I came to love dearly. When I look back at my time at Mars Hill I never think about Driscoll. I think about the friends that I made at Ballard (and even a few other campuses). Its not about Mark... Its all about Jesus. I relearned the gospel during my time in Seattle, and not through teaching from the pulpit, but through the love that you all showed me. Thanks for that. :)
