I was an only child. That means I like my alone time. I thrive in my alone time. I am totally comfortable with myself I have no desire to surround myself with people 24/ 7. The hardest part about having teenagers is they have ZERO concept of this need.. and even less respect for it. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be alone, in your own home to enjoy the silence.. or at least hear the birds sing, instead of footsteps, or someone elses music.
