I was asked about operating a Red cam for a 2nd unit crew earlier this week who were shooting for an action movie close to Guangzhou. I havent personally used one so I was honest and told them what I have used before. Since they needed someone who was basically plug and play and could just step right in without needing any supervision, I wasnt able to go. The film stars Jean Claude Van Damme, one of my favorite film stars from my childhood. I was very excited for the opportunity and a bit disappointed, but that next day while they were filming, I was out and about wrapping up the final shots for my own film Epoc. I have to say that the work I did that day was some of the best and most important in my life. I havent felt sad at all, rather Ive been extremely happy all week...so much so that I can barely sleep! Im very thankful and blessed to have the life and people that I have. I know that day by day, I am building a greater world for myself and for everyone else.
