I was asked, by Arathi Aravind, to make a list of the books that Ive read over the years, that I could call my favourites, and so here they are. Some of them Ive read countless times over, while some I have only read once or twice, but they are all special to me nonetheless (the books are listed in no particular order). The Fountainhead - Ayn Rand The Lord Of The Rings - J. R. R. Tolkien The Skulduggery Pleasant Series - Derek Landy Breakfast Of Champions - Kurt Vonnegut The Hitchikers Series- Douglas Adams Heidi - Johanna Spyri The Harry Potter Series - J. K. Rowling The Secret Garden - Frances Hodgson Burnett The Museum Of Innocence - Orhan Pamuk Dracula - Bram Stoker The Aloysius Pendergast Series - Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child A Song Of Ice And Fire - George R. R. Martin Never Let Me Go - Kazuo Ishiguro The Godfather - Mario Puzo The Clicking Of Cuthbert - P. G. Wodehouse The Kite Runner - Khaled Hosseini His Dark Materials - Phillip Pullman The Name Of The Rose - Umberto Eco Shantaram - Gregory David Roberts Looks like that went a little longer than I intended, anyway, I would like to ask Anirudh, Shilpa, Arjun, Vignesh, Gowri & Anisha to put up their own lists, since this does seem like a pretty cool way to share some of our favourite books and authors with fellow bibliophiles out there. Cheers, people!
