I was asked for a more savoury snack option over in the clients only group, so I thought this might be am easy option. Roast chickpeas! Just drain a can of chickpeas, dry them a bit with some kitchen roll, transfer to a bowl and drizzle in a little olive oil, sea or rock salt and garlic powder. I also added a mixed spice which included curry powder, paprika and chilli. Spread on a baking sheet and roast at 210 degrees C for 30 minutes. There are loads of flavour options: Cinnamon and ginger Chilli Mixed herbs Maple syrup Balsamic vinegar Curry... Youve got a low fat, high protein and high fibre snack, unprocessed and good for you x
